Starting
Level0 is at the beginning of all analysis and understanding, whether it be rhythmic, harmonic, or melodic and it begins by alternating beats and off-beats in a purely binary manner.

Premises
Music harmony has 2 basic premises, both simple and reliable:

• the construction of eachchord
• thedispositionof the chords with respect to each other

Modes
The basic premises are applied to the Major Diatonic Mode, the most fundamental of the 4 strong modes and the one from which the 3 others are derived by 2 forms of inversion.

Voicing
At this point, only basic (default) voice-leading is applied, only from tetrad to triad, yet.
